UPN, E-mail & Proxy Address Mismatches

The question it answers: Which users have duplicate proxy addresses, addresses on unverified domains, or a UPN that differs from their e-mail address?

Duplicate proxy addresses break mail delivery and directory sync (soft-match conflicts); addresses on unverified domains block sync of the object; licensed users on onmicrosoft.com and UPNs that differ from the e-mail address confuse users and break SSO apps that match on e-mail.
